hey Don thanks for the info, i'm doing the same thing. i see your company charges $315 for a Dyno tune.

My question.

Does that price mean until the car is tuned or a certain number of pulls?

Actually, That was the old pricing structure - $315 was for a dynotune and chip for a car with a stock MAF and injectors, plus you'd have to pay $65-75 per hour plus we'd charge $50/hour for any mechanical problems that needed correction such as timing, fuel pressure, plugs, wiring, etc. that added up to over $500 for most cars mainly because a lot of cars had mechanical problems that needed to be corrected before we tuned it and dynotime was usually 2-3 hours. Our revised pricing is a flat $500 for a chip for all cars and it includes all the dynotime it takes, 1 hour or 10 hours - and we do a once over on the car and check for minor mechanical issues - we check and set timing, fuel pressure, vacuum leaks and run codes on it. We evalute the MAF and injectors to be sure they are OK. If we note things that should be fixed such as fuel filter, plugs, inadequate fuel pump and/or injectors and MAF, we can do the work for extra $$ or you can take it somewhere or do it yourself to save $$$ and bring it back when it's ready. This actually saves time and $$ in the long run. We had a run of cars that pegged the MAF, paid dyno time, then next time, ran out of fuel pump, then paid for dyno time, then fixed that and... well you get the picture. The avearge price for a dynotune across the US is about $600-700 - some do it a lot cheaper, somer even more. But a dynotune isn't something to price shop on.

ok so so i'm going to give the car a good once over and then take it to a dyno shop with about $500 to $600 in my pocket...

Thanks for the info: if you were closer i would bring it to you.

Hey guys. I want to buy a lightning 90mm maf and 42# injector combo, because they're so cheap. I know people run them on our cars, but somebody's gotta know EXACTLY what it takes. How do I do it?

setup:
95 cobra, computer unmodified except for chip

How are you going to run 42# injectors on that setup? The duty cycle will be about 50%? Two of my good friends couldn't get 42# injectors to run right on H/C/I stock shortblock 5 liters.

Hey Don, completely new here so I apologize, this is an old thread but I'm curious about your company and what tuning you offer for 94-95. Is there a better way to reach you?

I would reach out to Willie Lynch at Dirty Dirty Racing. He tuned my vortech 95 on a Moates QH with lightning mass air meter, great power and drive ability
