take the speed-o cable loose from the back of the gauge cluster in my fox??? i cant figuare out the trick to getting it loose?

If I remember right, you have to squeeze the dickens out of those two tabs. disconnect the cable from the cruise sensor and it will give a bit more slack.

This is my experience with another ford, should be very similar on the stang. Mine did not have a cable when I got it, nor does it now.

mine doesnt have tabs on it

It should have one tab on it. It sticks out. Look on the bottom side if you can't see it on the top. You squeeze it and it will come loose

yes, theres a tab there, its a big pita to take off, it took me forever, just be paitent with it and take ur time and you will se how it comes off, but there should be a little tab to push or pul and it should pop off

All you need to do is press down on the nylon ring/collar that holds the Speedo on the back of the gauge cluster like this.

And that will release the Speedo Cable from the Gauge Cluster.
