I just did a 5 lug conversion. I thought Id be able to fit a 15x5" wheel up front. I have PBR 99+ up calipers now. But I think i may have to go to a smaller caliper size such as the 94-95 style. What did you guys have to do to fit these on? Grinding the calipers, spacers? Im not so sure what a big spacer will look like on a fox body. Pics would be helpful
Thanks

Are the PBR calipers you're running the same as the Cobra calipers? If so, you'll need to swap to an earlier GT caliper.

But either way, it's pretty common to have to run Spacers on skinnies. Try that before grinding.

I just replied to your thread on the subject on hardcore.

the v6's had 16in rims...I dont recal a 15in rim on a 99+ maybe on the 94-98's. The 94-98s also had a diff. backspace/brake combo than he is running or wanting to run. The 99+ v6 and gt had the same front brake setup aswell and I dont think they had a 15in option.

The best way will be to do some measuring to see how much room you will need with the backspacing you plan to run.

aren't all of the mini-spares that came in mustangs (except Cobras) 15"? Or did they switch to 16" in '99? If a 15" mini-spare will fit I would think there should be a way to fit a 15x4" skinny, at least with a spacer.

dunno but i can tell ya that a skinny also needs a 1/4" spacer. And this thread is about a 15x5 wheel.
I put on a 3/8 spacer and it clears everything no grinding. Im gonna play and see if i can gain another 1/8" or so massaging the caliper cross brace.
