How do you fix this?

Ok, I know that every 5.0 is having this problem. I just got my intake and heads ported and polished and I do not want the pcv valve sucking a ton of oil in my ports.
So my question is how do you delete or fix the pcv valve so it dont get oil in your in take.
I thought of plugging the port on the back of the intake and changing my valve covers and run breathers on the valve covers? Also I read that alot of the 4.6 guys are running fuel filters in thier pcv lines and thats helping? But I want to know what others have done?

As long as you still have a metal baffle on the lower intake you will not get much oil sucked up. However, since the vapor that the PCV valve circulated is oil vapor there will always be a trace of oil in the lines.

Granted it won't be awful, but there will be some. The most effective way to eliminate that would be to run an Air/Oil seperator. The seperator should remove most of the oil substance prior to getting injested into the upper manifold.

u cannot run breathers on a closed EFI system. U have a closed systyem. U must only run a PCV valve to eliminate crankcase vapors.

I think that thread had a pic of Andy's intake - it looked very nice IMHO.

You can see my concerns and what I am doing with the separator right now, toward the bottom of that thread. Just as an FYI.
