how do you open steering column

Hi, i have a 70 mustang, and its not starting checked everytying, and found out i have a bad switch and its not sending any power, i took the foam off and the nut but then i can't get it off to acess the key switch thingy? any ideas

Are you trying to remove the Tumbler or the Slide switch?
The tumbler connects to a rod that goes thru the colume to a
slide switch.
