I need to take off some of the trim before paint. The parts are numbered in this picture... they are:
1. The trim piece at the top of the windshield
2. The pieces at the sides of the windshield
3. The pieces at the bottom of the windshield (to either side of the cowl cover)
4. The piece at the bottom of the side window
5. The trim around the rear-window
6. The piece at the top of the side window (on the roof, not mounted on the door)
7. ~~not window related... how do you get the Ford symbol off the hatch!?

How do you get them off? I plan on painting them after they're off... and also it would be useful to know how they went back on too! thx

1,2 and 5) To take these off you can use a screwdriver and you will see small tabs that can be released. Just take your time. They will look like this.

3) Just pry these up with a screwdriver as well. But after you remove 1&2 first. Be careful when prying these up as they are held in with clips and the peice has small tabs that face down and break off easily.
4) when you open the door you will see 1 phillips head screw on the inside edge of the door. Remove the screw and slide the molding backwards to remove.
6) with the door open you will see phillips head screws that need to be removed just below the molding. Then it just pulls off. It will have some adhesive on the back as well.
7) The emblems are usually just pryed off with a screwdriver. Nothing special here.
Once you get them off you will be able to figure out how they go back on.
Hope that helps. Good luck! :D
