how do you take the silencer off?

I am bored, saw the car and wanted to do somethin. Anyone got the answer?

should just pull out. mine did. its just a rubber cone, grab it and yank it out.

Unbolt the airfilter housing, try to pull it up and you'll immediately see it; it's that thing sticking in the side of the engine bay.

Consensus tends to be removing it gives you a couple of hp at the upper end, but you'll lose the same amount of torque at the low end. Decide which you like more. However, removing it does provide a cooler engine sound though.
