How do you test coil packs?

As the title says. I'm thinking of aftermarket coil packs now that Accel makes them. But I'm wondering if I need them. My car is now SC'd and tuned but I've seen the new Granatelli Coil Packs add 9rwhp on a friends ride and smooth out the idle.

Any advice?

Some people on here say Granatelli are trash I know nothing about them, but i thought about upgrading my COPs too since i need a tune-up soon. Well not technically but i want to do one at 60k

I have a 2000GT with a Allen SC running at 9lbs of boost. There is a slight stumble when parked. It's weird cause it happens every 10 seconds. It may just be nothing at all but I was wondering if I could use a multimeter to test the resistance of each coil for consistancy.

to test the primary resistance connect the leads to the (+) and (-) terminals.
to test secondary resistance connect the (+) lead to the (+) terminal and the (-) lead to the coil, i've read around here that the values should be .55 and 5.5K respectively but i'm not sure

October 5.0 & SF has an good article on GMS coils. The modded car they tested picked up 15hp/20tq with just this change. Seems a bit high but that's what the article says.
