I've got a speedo that seems to read more than actual MPH. Realizing the many factors that go into speedo accuracy, I hope to sample some like users for relative (at best) comparison. Any one who has a stock 2.3 N/A 5 sp with correct tire size (no low pros) can help with this. At 55 MPH tach shows 2000 - at 65 MPH tach shows 2400. I think my speedo is reading high. Please, anyone who can provide tach & MPH info, thank you very much. I will add that I believe my car to be stock in any aspect that may affect this situation, including rear end gears. I'm running P205/65R15's (factory option), which are the same height as the more common P195/75R14's. Again, I am aware of the myriad of factors that can change speedo readout, I'm just trying to get a few responses and see where they average out. Thanks for all your help!!

In overdrive, at 55 mph, your rpms would be 1967rpm.
In overdrive, at 65 mph, your rpms would be 2325rpm.

Notice how when you start going faster your stock speedo reads more off?

According to your figures, looks like the speedo is just about right where it should be. Sure feels like I'm just puttin' along 5 -10 mph slower than I really am. Gotta say I've never owned a car that drove so good at high speeds - maybe that just makes 55 seem like 45 and 65 seem like 55. Thanks for the help - that website calc made the whole thing way too easy!!!!!
