Josh, thats why it is impressive. They aren't ported. Just the upgraded AFRs he bought used from a guy. Tiny unported head on that motor.

Wow... That is really impressive. It's crazy how one insane Ford motor can make about 3hp and one that should be a joke runs 9s on motor.
Either way, I love it. So are you coming to the Valley next Friday or what?

Yeah it is amazing. Guess it depends who you know. My brother actually just tossed his motor together. Upgraded the valve springs and such on his GT40Ps, and had a cam made. The engine guy from knowing what it ran (12.17 @ 111 at LVD) thinks it should go well into the 11s. I guess we see this weekend.
Dad and brother will be at Epping for the race. Dad will have an 06 black Ram 2500 towing an enclosed trailer with a maroon LX hatch in it, and brother will have my blue and silver F250 towing an open trailer with a blue 86 GT on it. Say hello if you see them!

No, Lebanon Valley, next Friday, the 21st. Track Rental, and sat/sun is Outlaw 10.5s. We're running Friday, partying like rock stars Friday night and watching outlaw 10.5s on Sat. You should join us. I'll run your car with the Busa for pinks.
turns out the motor that i was told was in the car. which was ported with 1.7 rockers an E cam and ported intake was a stock motor but was running -14* of timing. when i had looked at it before it looked like it had said 20* which i knew wasnt right. (that will teach me to check timing light in complete sunlight)
anyway im just gunna keep this motor how it is now till i can build another motor. im gunna be to busy getting my buddys race car ready for the last few races this year to mess with mine...
on a plus side we just threw some stanthuffs struts on his car so i got his old QA1's with springs for my car.

I never trust someone who says "ported heads" but can't prove it with reciepts. I had one friend who every car he purchased had "ported heads". Needless to say I'm sure not a single one did. Why would you have the stock heads on a 305 TBI ported? LOL.
Josh, next weekend, I might or might not have plans yet. As of last week I did, as of this week it changed. Probably going to change back!

oh well i guess... im starting the new motor soon... should be good for a high ten or so on the bottle. gotta figure out if i wanna go with a tko or a C4 and carbed or fool injection
