How hard can it be?

I have everything done accept physically seperating the tranny from the engine and lowering it. It seems like a lot of force is needed to seperate the transmission and lower it, is this true, any advice? 1996 Cobra, yes it is unbolted. Thanks for the input.
 
Have you supported the engine or are you letting the engine/transmission sag in the middle?

Have you removed the starter bolts?

If you support the rear of the motor, can you move the transmission from side to side? Up and down?
 
The starter bolts are removed. I didn't support the engine, it doesn't appear to sag and there really isn't a good place to put a jack under the engine. I guess I'll have to remove the support brace under the oil pan and use a 2x4 on the oil pan to support it.
