How hard to change motor on electric fan??

Well it startrd making noise today and I think napa sells the fan motor, how hard are they to swap out?

not hard at all. I just did mine about a month ago and it took me about 15 minutes.


FYI, I found my motor on ebay for like 10 bucks. it might be worth it to take a look for one there.

It will depend if the shaft seized to the fan blade's hub.

yea... From what I remember, you pull the connector and take off 3 bolts and its out...

I keep a spare motor in my trunk because I know I could replace it anywhere if it goes... (If You carry minimal tools) you do carry tools, right??

The hardest part was getting the fan off the motor for me too. NOTE: the fan blades are sharp, wear gloves or have an EMT on stby.
