Just took the car out for the first time this week, and ran about 210* after only about 15 mins of driving

That's with the Fluidyne, Mods below, and about 92* outside.

What's everyone else been running?

(please make sure your mods are there, especially any cooling mods) and what the temps have been outside.)

THANKS
RC

Its been hot as balls lately here. Around 90* and tons of humidity. My car runs around 190*. I have an sn95 fan wired with a switch and a 75a relay to the high side, a cheap 3 core radiator, 180* mr gasket thermostat, under drive pulleys and appx a 50/50 coolant mix. I don't have a/c.

As some of you know, I have an 11:1 347 and that added compression definatly makes the engine run hotter. My 302 used to never go past 180* (unless I forgot to turn the fan on)

Its so friggin hot down here in upstate SC that i don't even really take the cobra out anymore. It rains so much and then the next day we have 90* weather and the humidity is just rediculous. On top of that i have black leather seats so screw that. I do take it out but only at night when its fairly cool. I just have a 180* stat and run just around there at night.

Afco radiator, Stewart water pump, and old stock t-stat.

94 here today. Wlaking outside feels like walking into a steam room.... it's so freakin' humid! I'd rather be out west in 115* drier weather.

Mine ran around 220* today.... until I sat in traffic for 20 minutes. I thought I was going to have to shut her off on the side of the interstate. All hail to the FAN SWITCH MOD!!!

well down here its stays from 90-95 during the day. With a heat index of like 110 and humidity out the wazoo. The cobra usually stays about 180ish on the highway sometimes a lil cooler. In town its about 190-215 somewhere around that.

Been about 95 - 100* here. I just took her for a ride, never kicked over 185*. I have the stock rad, a 180* t-stat, high speed fan turn on at 185*, new ford racing water pump(not sure its different)and of course I have some water wetter and fresh coolant at 50/50......

A/C on or off, doesn't really change anything in my car. Usually runs around 180* all day if it wasn't so hot. It hit 186* once. Hasn't done that since the fresh coolant and water wetter........

I actually live 40 miles east of San Diego. The city is actually a lot cooler than where I live. 10-15* on avaerage. I live in a valley, and get little to no breeze. The crest fires last year, I'm right in the middle. It was all around me........But yeah, the weather here has been crazy.........

Water transfers heat ~2.6 times more efficiently than E/G coolant. I would run the least amount of coolant necessary for one's winters (freeze protection). Run an add pack of lubricant and rust inhibitor and a wetting agent if desired.

I see the same temps as John and run about the same temps.
