How important is it for the ground wire that runs from chassis to engine to be on the engine>? Mine ran from the chassis to the engine mounts, but broke when we were takin mounts off. Now it wont reach to bolt it on any engine parts except a screw on bottom of power steering pump which I dont want to loosen and it leak or something. ....

damn Im an idiot. After thinking about it the chassis is prob the ground for engine huh? or is it?

get a new ground wire and run it to where you broke it. Like Adam said, it is very important. bad engine ground was my major problem with my car. Ran like hell for a long while before i figured it out. extremely rich.
