If you want Saleen, get Saleen. That's my answer. It may cost more, but knockoffs tend to make changes, that don't look quite right.

If thats the place in Wylie, Tx. go do a search on DfwStangs.com . Some of those guys have had some problems with their stuff. I cant get their web site to work here at work so I cant post you a link to it.

They are a pinta to prep, because they even have defects, but at least it looks like saleen. and you know it will fit. You always have to prep anyway. Nothing ever comes perfect.

I think some people like the look of the kit, personally I think the rear Bumper is amazing..but I would never want a Saleen Logo on my car that is not a Saleen.

If Saleen was smart they would make them without the logo.

i really havent had a problem with them. but then again, i didnt order a body kit from them. i ordered my speedster cover. looks great, and it wasnt a PITA to prep (at least thats what the guys who painted it told me, i dunno). Overall, I'd order from them again.

Body Kits

Someone posted here that they ordered a body kit from Saleen
and it took months for the kit to get to them and when the person
called they kept coming up with excuses why he didn't receive the
body kit. When it finialy did get their the body kit was damaged
and the buyer was red hot mad so,I guess Saleens'
customer service is horrible.I also heard ABC's body kits are bad
quality and their customer service was worse so,I would never
buy from Saleen or ABC if your smart. On the other hand I heard
nothing but, great things about Roush's quality of their body kits
and their customer service so,I wouldn't mind giving Roush the
business at all.In my opnion the Roush body kits are one of the
few that I like.

Saleens customer service is horrible my car was out for a whole month for a supercharger install due to incorrect parts shipped and then Saleen telling me the parts were correct I had to go to their site and get the correct part numbers for the drive belt and they didnt even send instructions. The nobody ever called back -- I had to go to the VP of the company to get any response from them and then all of a sudden every person that I contacted returned my call - Saleen service

I bought 2 hoods and the cobra rear bumper for my 93 and I like their products just as well as cervinis. As far as a body kit I have never bought one from them but the fitment of the products i did purchase was great.

funny someone would say this, because i actually have a pocket full of excess polyurethan about a half inch thick from my body shop...long story but they had to prep and paint the kit 3 times, then shave off brackets, custom fabricate part after part, heat body panels, and do everything under the sun to make the kit look ok on the car. The kit was more than a pain in the ass they said. They told me, "you are the firsdt and last customer with a saleen body kit i will ever install or paint" and i guess its my fault. Becase before i got it i heard all these horror stories about saleens customer service. But i oredered my from www.speedworx.com for a good price and they had excellent customer service. but then once i got them to my body shop (local ford collision repair center) they have had the worst time with every part of it. Its been 3 weeks since i dropped the stuff off and i didnt even get side skirts. BUT i went to see the car today, and they are workin hard to reduce the gaps in the front, and the back fit like a glove (except it has some humps in it from when they had it on a rack drying after paint even though they say the material will relax over time and look perfect) so im pretty sure its going to look awesome. and to tell you the truth, all of this hassel and waiting may be worth it because when i saw the car it looks badass and im in love with saleen styling, so if you guys want ill post pictures of the end result.

if anyone wants more specific details as far as some other problems let me know and ill drag it out a little further

abc kit

my mother just bought the ABC 900 kit with a styling bar and speedster covers we had our uncle paint them and he said they were all very easy to prep and the car just got finished tonight and it looks amazing. she spent 1400 on the entire kit shipped and to just buy saleen front and rear bumpers are over 1400 dollars. If you are on a budget this is the way to go. the rear bumper also doesnt say saleen on the back but look great. i will try to get pictures up this weekend.
