I have Magnaflow exhaust tips right now (since they came with my cutback set). I personally think they look terrible and I want to get rolled tips with a 15 degree angle cut. Since I have to get welded on (or screw on tips), how long are tips for the Mustang? Are they 12" or 14"?

Anyone recommend a certain kind of tip? I'm looking for a 4" tip exit diameter.

Heres a well priced option that I'm considering (also think the Magnas look a bit crap). Only 3.5" though. Not sure what the "clamps over stock tips" is about?

The borla stinger catback has 4" tips that match your description.
Not my stang but see post #3:
http://www.stangnet.com/mustang-forums/785006-pics-mustangs-4-exhaust-tips.html

I can take some pictures of the tips on my stang if you want.... although it looks like you would have to buy the entire catback just to get those tips

The MRT tips posted above look nice as well.

I have those tips in Chrome. They don't slip over the stock tips. Mine are attatched with band clamps. Fit is good and they look great, IMO.

Can you clean the Chrome tips without scratching them? How are they holding up?

The 4" tips look too big to me. Those 3.5" MRTs look pretty much perfect.

I think MAC have the best looking tips. Don't think they are 4" though.

Thank you the borlas look great but since I can't find them "ala carte," I think I may have to go with the MRT's

Yea, the tips clean up pretty easily. The rolled edges tend to blacken up pretty quick, at least on my car they do. So you have to polish them frequently

I agree the 4" tips look too big. 3 1/2's fit the curve of the bumper cutouts perfect.

Here is a pic, but they are not cleaned up. When they are polished, they have a nice defined edge to them. This is after a day at the track...
