well im lookin for a project and i was wondering how long will a stock block/bottom end hold up. banking on i find a car with a pretty strong motor, i would like to put lets say the trickflow h/c/i setup and maybe a little A-trim s/c. any idea on how it would take it? i would eventually build another motor(347 or 392 or somethin w/turbo), but that will take time/money. would the lil supercharger hurt it a lot, or would i be better off w/o it. if this makes no sense let me know.

You'd be fine using an A-trim with an h/c/i combo on a stock block. Just make sure that the rings are good, or else you'll be burning oil all the time. Some say the stock block is good up to 500rwhp while others say it will explode at 400. You should be safe though.
