Just got the eibach pro kit on my car. Drives great, i love em, but it didnt drop it as much as i would've liked... How long does it take for the springs to settle in and how much more of a drop can i expect? Also, will they settle just as much if i let the car sit in one place for, say a week, or if i'm out driving the car that entire week??

I gave them about a month before getting any alignment done. That seemed to be about when it looked like they were completely settled.

I don't see how you could let the car sit after getting them in. Definately drive the junk out of it. :D

I have the same setup and drove it for a week to let them settle. I drove on some local roads that I knew had a few bumps and dips to help. Just be sure to keep an eye for uneven wear on your tires. You shouldn't have any ( the pro-kit doesn't throw the alignment off that bad), but it's still a good idea to check. Final settle for mine was 1.5 lower in the front and 1.75 in the rear (with insulators in place).

I have the tokico hp setup and my alignment was way off. The drop was about 1.5" and I really chewed up the fron tires in two weeks.

I already had new rims & tires in the garage so I didn't care. I got an alignment and now it is all good. I took a chance and did not install CC plates. Worked out good. And now I have 2 sets of stock tires to burn up.....

Sorry, I forgot to mention that I'm still on stock shocks/struts. I drove it over 500 miles with no major wear on the tires.

Mine took a week to settle. I didnt do an alignment since I was getting new tires soon but they didnt wear any worse anyway.

I do think they are taking thier toll on the stock shocks/struts though. One of my rear shocks squeaks over bumps and is leaking.

I just got my springs in yesterday, they got rid of the 4x4 look allready but I'm pretty sure they will settle in a week or so, the alignment isn't too bad, i'm gonna wait a few weeks to get it aligned, it handles better allready

What springs did you go with? The Eibach Pro Kit lowered my car, but not as much as i would've hoped... Seems a little lower than stock, but not by much.. The back is perfect.. its the front that bothers me. Just cant really tell too much that i lowered it.. I dont know.. I'll get pics probably by tommorow. I cant tell if maybe its my low profile tires or what... I'm running a 265/35 on an 18" rim. But i'm not sure a 275 would make a difference.

I just lowered mine last weekend and waiting about 10 days before I get the alignment. You should have went H&R ss. The drop is PERFECT. The front sits lower in the rear and is how a mustang should look from the factory. I took a sharp offramp at 55 yesterday to check them out. Handles WAY better. Now my car is fun again (for a while)!!

Well, um, thanx for the input?

I have had my Steeda Sports w/Tokico HP's in for 3 days now. Front has dropped 1-1/8" and looks perfect but the rear is only down about 5/8". I would love to get another 1/4" to 1/2" or so out of the rear. The ride is amazing :hail2: and I know it is due to both the springs and Tokico's. I strongly recommend quality aftermarket struts/shocks if you want to get the most potential out of your springs.

I just got my H&R sport springs and Tokico 5 way adjustable's put on last friday. I just got my alignment done today they said the alignment wasent to bad but it did need to be aligned. I can tell mine has dropped I think it has a little more to go though. I plan on taking some pictures either on friday or saturday so I will have some comparison pictures up sometime this weekend.

When I lowered my truck, it took a few weeks before I noticed that it dropped alittle more from settling. I know mine might be different because its a 4800 lb truck, but I thought I would chime in.

If you want to speed things up, drive your Stang real fast on real curvey roads. :D
