Hm, it's 2am, and I can only really download so much "stuff" before my task bar is so incredibly jammed that I have no idea what I'm getting anymore.

And I figured since I haven't been on here much in the past,
I'm curious to know what's the standard time people here have had their car for?

So HERE'S MY POLL!

Ah, good, i'm glad you guys chimed in. It's nice to see too who has had their car for awhile and such.

Paul, didn't you mention at one point that when you died, you wanted to literally be buried in that thing? Or at least have a plot beside you? ;D

I figured too there are a lot of new members in the Talk section, so you'd see some really early numbers, but none thus far... oddly enough.

7 years now for me, and like Paul, this car won't ever leave my name.

It is quite likely that I will die at the wrath of this car during a short but exciting launch off a cliff when i'm around 80 and have nothing better to do

hopefully I'll get a magazine cover by then

Well this one i have only had about 2 years. Previously owned a 94 black gt coupe since 01, but was stolen then replaced with the current one i have now. Also owned a handfull of fox bodys. The opal will stay forever, the next project will be an 03-04 tt terminator hopefully getting underway next year.

Bought mine in Feb 2002. I've thought about selling it a couple times, but now I don't think I ever will.

I'm still relatively new to the mustang game, got mine in October '05 from a young guy who had it for over 8 years (and did very few mods to it all that time ). So long as I don't ever total this car (god forbid), I don't forsee ever selling it for any reason. This is my DD until next year when I plan to get a second vehicle, probably a 1/2 ton truck. Thats when the real project for this car begins. Can you say 418c.i. with forced induction?

Bought it cheap back in sept. Figure its a mustang I can beat like a step child and keep my 02 nice.

Got it in 2004. Never gonna sell this thing. If I do sell it, it will be for $4-5k, not worth it. Plus, it was my dad's childhood dream to own a Mustang, it would break his heart. haha

There's no way I'd ever sell my mustang unless I'm starving to death and I really need the money, because I'd never recoup anything near what I've put into it so far...and there's still more to come.

Huh, I forgot to post how long I've had my car for...

most of you all put me to shame.

I bought my car in April of '04
Ironically the same time as I joined Stangnet?

Can anyone else hear X-Files music playing in background?
