How long should you let a silicone gasket set before adding oil? I just replaced my tailshaft seal, and am wondering if I can put the rest back together or should I wait until tomorrow...
Intakes (blue, grey or black RTV), some people recommend 24 hours (the package-recommended time for a "full set", but other people put in oil and start her up right away w/ never any leaks.
If you're not a gambling man, wait 24 hrs.
