Just wanted to know if anybody elses fuel pump is bitching lound when standing behind the car. The bassani catback I just installed overpowers it but you can still hear it.

Thanks to anyone who replies.

I've just installed a 255HP fuel pump about a month ago and I can hear it at idle. It sounds like a jet airplane taking off or a vaccum cleaner but it's not too loud. Before I installed it I was a little worried about how it would sound since I heard someone said it sounds like a coffee grinder. But now I could care less about the noise it makes since it did fix my starting problems I had.

My stock pump was pretty loud, but my Walbro 190 is almost dead quiet. Then I installed the T-rex and it howls.

My Walbro 255lph (GSS340 - Hi-pressure) is extremely loud. I can hear it over my exhaust (BBK LT's & Off-road H) if I tune in to the sound.

I forget the pn but I have the high volume not high pressure 255 Walbro.

It is silent about 95% of the time but every now & then you can hear it faintly from inside the car.

From outside the car I can hear mine quite clearly (Walbro 255), once in awhile I'll hear it inside the car.
