And where are they located? I ask this because I'm having starting issues and want to recheck and clean all ground connections. When I rebuilt the car, I only remember connecting just the one to the motor mount.

Thanks

I had issues with the motor mount one... the braided strap looked fine but wasn't, 6.00 to replace that...I could see arcing when I tried to start it on the fenderwell. I removed it and cleaned up both ends..

My stock ground wire looked okay as well, but wasn't. When I went to remove the bolt from the engine bay, the bolt snapped off from rust. With my new engine I used my old alternator wire to make new ground cables. I put one on each engine mount during the new install and my gauges started working again.

So you guys only had 1 ground wire. Another person on Corral stated that they had 3 ground wires; tranny bellhousing, motor mount and back of cylinder head.

I recall having one coming off my hood to the body but I replaced the hood.

Were you guys having any starting issues?
