No, The VIN number for a GT is the same as a GTS

Might be able to run the VIN with the dealer or your insurance provider. I remember when I first got my GT the insurance asked if it was a GT or GTS so there has to be some way of verifying.

BTW, I still to this day kick myself for not picking up a TEAL GTS a few years ago. Great looking and performing cars. Sorda wish Ford had a strip down version of the Mustang now. One would def. be sitting in my driveway.

I think the only way to see if it is a GTS is if you look at it. Even when you type in a GT VIN to car fax it says "1995 FORD MUSTANG GT/GTS "

i about to purchase my 4th mustang a black gts aode with 180k (just breaking in) stock with welded 3 chamber flows and chrome bullitts, aftermarket fogs, and rear wing... here are some pics

How much of a weight difference is there between a GT and GTS? I'm curious as to how much weight my car would lose if I went to manual windows/door locks.

Hi, I just purchased a light blue 5 speed GTS with 100k miles on it. The funny thing is I didn't know it was a GTS until last friday a friend of mine told me. I had never heard of the GTS. For me it was supposed to be just a plain jane daily driver , but now it's kind of nice to know it's something a little different than the usual GT's.

I have a 95 GTS. I drove it hard and drag raced it for a while then parked it to race high performance go karts. I think it has 68k on it. Its been a while since Ive been in it. I do have some brand new Sparco Torino 2 seats sitting in my bedroom waiting to be installed. Money is the issue and go karting around my area costs $500min per weekend and thats before you break parts. Cant beat the rush though!

On the bright side, I picked up a factory ride with GP Karts which will cover all motor and kart maintance. When the CC debt is paid off the GTS will be back on the road.

I have a 1995 gts red exterior with black inside 22600miles. Plain Jane and I like it that way.
