how many guys running 31 spline track lok

hey guys i was wondering how many of you guys are running the 31 spline track lok. i gonna buy some axles soon and i really dont have the money to dump on a eaton or torsen right now. i was just gonna get a track lok and rebuild it. i just wanted to see how some of you where making out with them. thanks

I have two of the 31 spline carriers. Sonn I am going to install one of them in my car. But I have installed them in other peopels cars and as long as the clutches are setup right you should have good limited slip action..

There are a few ways you can go with on setting them up.. some people like to remove one splined disc and add a friction disc to each side.. this will tighten up the posi action a little but it might reduce the strenth of the unit.

Anothe thing you can do to improve traction is setup the shim a little on the tight side, this might cause you to have a chatter on low speed turns.

I was going to ask the same question. I am getting a Torsen T2 and I was advised to get a 31 spline since I am allready getting one (if I were to make 500whp one day that would be needed they said). What axles should I be using?

I'm running the bias ply Et Streets, and odds are I'll be running et drags or quicktimes next time I need drag tires.
I went with 31spline Moser's. Funny thing is I had them in the car for almost a week before they charged my debit card.
BTW Yes I spray outta the hole and I drive my car everywhere.

sweet thats good to know im still thinking of the torsen or an eaton. whats the cheepest you guys have found the torsen or the eaton
