How Many miles is too many miles to s/c??

I have an 02 GT with 79k I want to put a procharger on it in the near future is 79-80k miles too many ?? proper maint has been kept on the car and motor I would be doing 8psi.... thanks

Not being a mechanic myself, I'd think a good compression check would tell you. If that looks good and the engine has been maintained, it should be fine.

on top of what mrwax said, check the oil for metal particules, throw some seafoam in the heads for the cleaning, and make sure you don't beat on it alot and you'll do fine. Just make sure you get a good tune.
