how many millimeters?

anyone with a caliper to measure what stock measurements are for the gap between the door to rear quarter and door to front fender ?

I'll be glad to do it when I get home, but it's going to be different from car to car. I'd just be shooting for "even".

thanks for the help i do this for a living at ford with all closures .i had to replace the the doors on my build and i am wondering if i have to shimmy the bottom hinge.

Alright, I measured the doors of the two cars that are currently in the garage. All four doors were within a couple of 100ths of 4.75 mm, as measured at the body line above the body side molding.

wow that is a huge margin i was hoping to go fours all the way across but the fender gap would be to wide.thanks for the info makes sense,

just curious what the fender to door looks like i am going to guess about the same .i have the doors at 3 just eyeing it and the fender to door margin is pretty wide.

That 4.75 was both front and rear of the door on each side. They were pretty much equal both front/rear and left/right.
