how many quarts in a 8.8 ?

anyone know for sure? i know friction modifier will be needed as well.

Officially 2.2 but mine always takes a little under 2 due to all the oil not draining

I did two plus the FM. If you're putting it in the stock fill plug I was told as soon as you can feel fluid with your finger it is fine. Also go buy a cheap fluid transfer pump. prior to posting this thread, googling gave me an answer of 3 quarts according to some sites. seemed like alot to me. so 2 it is.

thanks kornnut for the suggestion, i think that would be well worth it.

called my local dealership. they said 80w/90 .......is that correct?

I think I used 75w/90 in mine. I just bought the cheap coastal stuff.

It may be a bit over kill but this thing is nice for the job

It is a messy job but that made it a tad easier. If looking to save a few bucks just RTV it up.
