how much could i sell engine/tranny for?

engine is 302 bored .030 over with TRW Pistons 10.5:1, Crane Cam (270* in 280* Ex Duration)(448 in 472 Ex Lift) Edlebrock Performer RPM Intake, Holley Double Pumper 650cfm Carburetor, Port & Polished 351 Heads. has >5000 miles on it

transmission is borg warner t-5 5 speed.

just curious... any ideas?

Start it at 1200 and see where that takes you. Might not fetch that much but its a good starting point.

First of all, separate the two pieces. Someone is always looking for a new T-5 to do a tranny swap. Second, list it as a 306 CI and put that bugar on Ebay. I imagine you could get $800 + for the engine and $300 + for the tranny dependant on its condition (good synchros help).

well im not really planning on selling them seperate from the car, but some guy asked if i wanted to sell the car as a roller so i was just wondering if i could still get about $2500 total... but i guess not.

well if you get the engine nice and puuurrrttyy it is sure to fetch more then $800. There is always the person on ebay who sees a clean multi colored engine and thinks 800hp monster and is willing to put out high dollar for it.
