long story short and all excuses out the window> but how bad can this be?
no oil change for 6 months and i do a 0-110 blast, then i hear it--clickity clack
clicktyclack--changed the oil and oh man less than 3 quarts in there......fill er up and she still clickty clack --oh god please tell me i did not break something. i feel like such a noob!!!and i never neglect my car but i did this time. please chime in and give me some hope or lay down the sad truth!!
oh noise is coming from driver side, on top-near back i think?

Could be a couple things... Can you get a video of it so we can hear the sound. clickity clack could be anything.

ill see if i can borrow a cam from someone. but if you hit like 1500 rpms and above it sounds like someone with a pair of drumsticks tappin on the head area near the back, driver side.

Well, forget the video> i took it down to lammotta performance, and its 2 of my rods that are shot!!! time for the rebuild, at least its an excuse to build it
and set it up right for the supercharger!!
and i will never forget to check my oil again!!!!!!!!
oh i also found out that the 96-98 cobras are known for sucking up the oil<
common problem according to MMR, but know that i know_it will never happen again!!!
