I welded my SFC's in on saturday. I nottice it is a little stiffer and all my interior rattles are prety much gone. The car feels like it pulls the whole front end up instead the drivers front. I never drove a fox with them so I have nothing to compare to but My install seemed to make a good difference. I now am going to install a D/S loop. Did you guys weld yous to the SFC's

hey did you have a shop do it or what? I want to weld mine on, but someone said the car had to be on all fours to make sure the frame doesn't get welded tweeked like it is when jacked.

I work at a garage and my bay that I work in has a new drive on hoist. I put them in myself...but my boss is an amazing welder so he did all the big welds once I had them tacked in plase then I stood on the hoist with a water bottle waiting for smoke lol.

even if you have a level floor in a garage or something. You could drive the front up on ramps and jack the rear up and slide a second set of ramps under the rear that should keep all the weight on the wheels and stay level. Just make sure your doors open and close as the would normaly do. That should jive you enough room under there to grind and weld them in

Sounds like a plan, do I have to take out the seats? someone told meI would have to have someone stand on top and spray water onmy carpet to keep it from burning. And di you get full lengths or regular? Thanks for answering all my questions:D

my seats stayed in and I had no fire....good idea to have a person standing there with some water handy though. The one place I was worried about was under the rear seat but I guess if you were worried you could take the rear seat out in a couple minutes. My sfc's are 51inches. full lenghts but not the XL ones. I got mine from bottlefed. he has a fab shop and makes them
