how much do aluminum heads weigh?

Just curious what edelbrock aluminum heads would weigh either together or apiece?

the former weights twice that of the latter.

He speaks the truth. My TrickFlows i was able to pick up each head with one hand and carry it around palm facing down. Nah uh with the GT40P's. Those required two hands.

i think i remember reading they are roughly 29 a piece, or 58 together.

Most alum heads are 28-35 pounds each

My AFR225 are 35# each, titanium keeps, trick valves, ported, etc...

what are the stock E7's i pulled mine yesterday and didnt expect them to be so heavy,

E7 are freaking heavy as hell. I had a set and they felt 45+ pounds a piece. I found a smoking deal on some AFR165's though and yah huge difference i can pick them up with one hand with no problem.

e7's are roughly 50 pounds i believe. about twice the weight of an aluminum head.

yeah, complete GT-40 cast head weigh about 46lbs each
