I have a stock 87 5.0.....has exhaust, pullies, and TB. w 3.55s out back....
on speed density I was at 14.30s with street tires and an AOD stock

I changed to mass air and also was a bad track that night at raceway park and could only do 14.90 with just stomping on gas at green do push braking or tires would spin.....

I am going to get some slicks soon.....
I would like to know how much ET I can drop when I get my B&M 2400 holeshot converter and Baumann shift kit set on stage 2 installed? Found a mechanic who used to work for Slaters mustangs to install both for 1/2 price...

Ads always say up to .7 on a converter but I want real numbers for my car....

you should be mid 13s with that stall, shift kit, and ET streets.. it'll be an major difference in the whole car.. BTW.. you could gain alot more off of just getting bigger gears.. such as 4.10s.. AODs are best with 3.73s atleast.. 4.10s if possible

don't forget about suspension mods. You could knock quite a bit off you first 60 feet and that will get you into the 13's easy.

What was the mph? Im guessing like 97, 98? With traction you should be able to break 13's

Buy a short belt to bypass the a/c and smog, Get an electric fan, lose the front sway bar, lose the spare donut, plug all hoses to throttle body spacer (water), plug and filter off hose from valve cover to TB, and buy some slicks

Fuel The fuel pump doesn't stop priming and I can hear a hissing noise on the lower intake area (passenger side).
