I am planning on getting a good dyno tune after my c&l plenum accufab tb and c&l mass air kit install. What will I be looking at as far as price goes. Thanks

Mine was $250 which included over 2 hours on the dyno, 9 pulls, and custom burn (turned off rear O2's, calibrated for 3.73's) by Mike Murillo. My A/F is safe and I'm happy with the power.......

I don't think yours should be that much though. What are your mods?

Bassani or x pipe, borla catback, steeda pullies & timing adjuster, K & N filter, steeda triax, 4.10 gears and the addition of the plenum tb and the mass air kit. I have an 01 GT. I havnt ordered the mass air kit yet but some people say that the c&l is hard to tune, is there a better option for me? Thanks

It varies from shop to shop, but you can expect anywhere from $100-250 if you get a new program burned to your chip. oops, just read that you dont have a chip. What do you have to correct your speedo since the gear swap? I didnt see anything about a speedcal or a chip, just curious.
I think the general price for 3 pulls with a/f at my shop is about $120 with no tuning. Im planning on a good $200-250 after my L/T's get installed to get the a/f just right

Honestly, I'm not sure about the difficulty of tuning with a C&L, but I do suggest taking off your timing adjuster and having your tuner adjust your timing via the chip (which you will have to pay for). Sell the T/A and get some of your money back....

Since you don't have a chip already, look to spend between $350-$450 at the most. It will be worth it though.....

Take that off and sell it too. The chip can be programmed for the gears. I took mine off and sold it when my tune was done.

These guys are supposed to be top-notch too. I'm making the 4.5-5hr drive after my cam install to get tuned there. There isn't anyone worth a crap in Indiana. Plus, I want SCT Tuning and not Fordchip.

Well I went to kauffman's to get my car done and am extremely pleased with the results. I have also witnessed them pull huge gains from 03 cobra's and Lightnings. I believe his name is Dave that does the tuning. They tuned for a set of cams and did a flip chip for my nitrous set up. He even ironed out all the wrinkles my C&L was causing.

I have the EFI reflash. It works both for NA and power adder cars. IMO...it's the best. You can find more info @ www.modularfordpowerhouse.com ask for Tim. Good luck

I'm pretty sure a buddy of mine has that flash.....on his 03 Cobra. And he is putting down about 25-30 more rwhp than any other 03 Cobra's with the same mods are.

I plan on getting it done. But I recently found out the shop where he got it done charges around $650 for it.

From what I've heard, most tuner's don't even bother with C&L MAF's. I think they prefer Pro-M's, or I think the 90mm MAF from a Lightning too.
