its a 88 5.0 ho 5 speed with mass air conversion. i plan on having this stuff done.

ported and polished heads ,and the same to both intakes, hooker super comp headers h pipe and 2 flowmasters. and some little electrical stuff like bigger plug wires, some bosch plugs probaly and accell coil.

how much horspower for the engine and rwhp estimated?

i might do the e-303 cam and roller lifter kit from jegs. how much would it make with that added?

it has a march ram air intake to ,will that do much?

im looking for a engine with some horsepower but for a small amount of money so i came up with that above.

any help appreciated

F.Y.I.-"bigger wires" wont add H.P. Typically speaking, "bigger wires" help cut down on interference between wires. Unless you go to a high performance wire that is would much more tightly, a "bigger wire" will do absolutely nothing to cut back resistance through the wire. (I.E. 8.0 vs. 8.8mm) The coil and plugs may help slightly to deliver a better spark, but this all depends on many other factors, which I am by no means an expert on and do not wish to explain. The exhaust setup sounds like a good start. Also I've never looked into porting/polishing stock heads but by quite a few of the threads I've read, it is usually cost/hp effective to buy upgraded heads/intake (even the lower line models) rather than trying to put money into stock parts. You may want to do a few thread searches, compare pricing, maybe find a setup you like and see what others think. This forum is very knowledgeable when it comes to upgrading on a reliable engine, while on a budget.

EDIT: if you need a good hot spark, you can upgrade to the off road wires. These wires are made of a more conductive material to cut back on resistance. But, I should warn you they are "off-road" use only for a very good reason, and if the governemnt catches you expect a car gone for a long time. My former neighbor and I could never figure out why everytime I drove my car around his Fire Station issued C.B. he would have nothing but static, until I shut it off. I searched and searched for a possible bag ground in the stereo, and anything causing radio interference. (installed a ground loop isolator, along with other things.) I later learned my wires where not for street use. For some reason the wires where such good conductors they would send a signal through my engine to my radio that would over power others C.B.s scanners etc.
