my nephew just bought a 98gt and he was wondering how much hp and tq it has. it is completly stock. i drove it and it felt real strong. i heard these were 15 second cars but it didnt feel like a 15sec car.

so your saying it felt stronger than that?...well maybe it had gears...a 5 speed 98 with 3.73s or 4.10s would be capable of mid-low 14s where I live...
all depends i gues..my auto 96 ran 14.5 with a horrible 2.3 60..so with my new tires probably the same as a 14.2 with a 2.1 60
the kid he bought it from said it didnt have gears or anything but it did feel strong. im going to race him in my 2000 to see where he is at. my car is in the 13.4 to 13.6 range right now so we will see what it has.
