How much HP is a stock '92 driveshaft good for?

Come spring, I'm looking at having over 500rwhp. I've got a stock driveshaft that has been shortened for a T56 and has a heavy duty yokes and U-joints on it. Will it hold up??

i think it will...i have a friend that has a 550rwhp fox with the stock driveshaft, so you will probably be good. But you would probably be better off getting an aluminum one

Yeah, I would probably be getting an aluminum or dynotech, but not right off the bat if possible.

ohh if your not going to use it for a long time you'll be good...just be prepared to buy one sooner or later

a driveshaft loop will give you a little bit more of piece of mind.

pole vaulting a car would be kind of scarey.

Get a loop. Prevent shaft from hitting ground, but more importantly coming through the floor!! I don't think your head will hold up to a 500RWHP driveshaft coming at you!!
