How much is this worth?

I have a 1971 4v 351 cleveland that is bolted to a c6 transmission. A guy wants to buy it off of me and i really have no intrest in building it because i can not afford to. It runs great, does not smoke, and start on a turn. They guy wants to know what i will take for it. Have any ideas?

If he can hear it run, I'd say $1000. You can easily have $2000 in rebuilding a engine.

i got that same set-up, and i would not sell it for $1000. maybe $1500. depends on mileage and condition, etc. mine is a 65,000 original motor....
