How much juice does the power steering use??

Mine has done it from time to time. But im real good at not letting it happen. Also with a better tune on the car it happens less and less. Most of you guys are modded with stock computers.

Well my lines going to my pump are loose and the fluide is nasty i think i need a whole new one mine only does it when it gets warmed up it stalls when turning the wheel and is real hard to turn..

There is usually a filter inside of the return hose on most Ford's. Maybe you guys should check into that and see if it is clogged. It is just a filter that slides into the rubber hose. I wouldn't really know how to check it. Maybe it's in the Haynes/Chiltons manual

Stock computers I think are part of the problem.
Getting your idle set right using the screw on the throttle body is a big help. I have seen it where it's not open far enough so your IAC is trying to control the idle too much and It can't do it fast enough. Open up the throttle blade and the IAC has less of a job to do and the engine won't stall as much.

I have a stand alone D.F.I. stock computer is long gone, and don't have this problem at all. I don't think it's the power steering pump causing your problems.

mine only stalls when i turn my wheel tho would that really have something to do with my computer?

mine does the same thing, just gotta watch out for it.
