I have a friend of mine that just installed a pair on his car (not on a mustang of course) and he dropped like a second and a half at the track. Just wondering how much I should expect.

Thanks

Mike

altezza's look nice on some cars, if done right some people spend their money on things other than horsepower

Around 8-12whp. Sometimes more if forced induction is involved.

If you install the washer lights as well as the valve cap lights with the Altezza's, your looking at least 20rwph. Do the combo, A/W/V

I think Chrome Bolt On Exhaust Tips are the best bang for the buck bolt on. Hell I've seen 15-20 HP increase over stock with these baby's.

this is all true, but the real gain is in applying the stickers that come with the lights. i dont even have PIAA's, but the sticker was worth about 3/10 of a second on my Craftsman (rollaway toolchest, where all the stickers are).

a ricer came by and said he would race the Craftsman for slips. he said it would be close with all the stickers i have, the sweet wheels (castors), plus the awesome, but mellow exhaust (he did not know the air compressor next to it was not part of the toolchest).

It is true. Look at the 01 Lightnings. When Ford switched to Altezzas, they picked up 20hp over the 99's!

Word Up Dudes. But I'll tell you what the most ultimate bolt on is. XR Racing Decals. Holy S*** everyone has these on there Cavalier's, Sunfire's, ricer's etc. and these baby's are known to give about 20HP and 1/4 Second in the Quarter! Not only that but there High Performance Floor Mats & Seat Covers give that extra bit of torque that your car needs. All this stuff can be picked up at your local Wall Mart in the High Performance/Accesories Section! Definetly the best bang for the buck. Your not a ricer if your not XR Racing Equipped.

Guys, you're all right. But if you want some real horsepower, you MUST get the carbon fiber altezzas! They're worth at least 40 more horsepower than the regular altezzas.

Just imagine if you got the carbon fiber altezzas...but then put a couple stobes in there. That'd be at least 80 hp+.
