I'm guessing $50/month extra to insure a GT for a medium-risk case such as myself and you-all. Anyone else look into this?

After adding up MSRP, gas, maintenace, and my estimate of comprehensive insurance costs for 10 years of ownership for a 10K mile/year commuter car...............I come up with a grand total of $14,000 EXTRA for the privelage of owning "the fast one". :(

Is it worth it?

Come on, no one's checked with their insurance agent yet to get a quote on an '05? I thought this was supposed to be the main obstacle of the muscle car for its intended demographic. Or are we all just being blissfully ignorant of reality?

...I guess I'll just wait for the ads to start appearing on autotrader that say -- For Sale: 2005 Mustang GT, 4500 miles, perfect condition, can't afford insurance, best offer.
