I just popped my distributer back in when i was having some problems and now the car runs, idles fine but either my distributer is still over a little or something but my timing is like at 2. When i shoot the timing gun at it i c my original marks like an inch above it. Im going to the track tonite and i was wondering how much power i could lose.

you'd be surprised.. anywhere from 5-10 horses.. thats one thing 5.0's like is advanced timing- stock setups especially. had mine at -15, but it developed a bucking problem around 1300. knocked it back down to base for my nitrous an it runs fine now.. if your runin a power adder, tho your off boost performance suffers unless you have a chip that can switch between N/A an p/a tunes..

dunno. but I dyno'd my GT and you can see the numbers in my sig. I discovered later on after I threw a light on it that the timing was at 2* ATC instead of around the stock 10* BTC

I lost 3-5 10ths because my spout connector was not it, leaving my total advance at 14* instead of 28-30* at WOT.
