See my sig for mods. Mild tune dyno'd 370rwhp/365rwtq at 5400' using 38# inj, no FMU on stock rails with Walbro GSS340 in tank and T-Rex inline pump. Base fuel press is 40psi with a 1:1 increase for boost. Currently running 14psi.

Why push the limit, your fuel system is not something to mess around with. I wouldent go over 400rwhp, but that is me.

They are good to about 550rwhp. I would redo the system if I was building up my car to make over 500rwhp though. However, I know of several people making over 500rwhp with the stock rails and lines.

I made the numbers in my sig with stock rails.

They can go for about 600hp. but wouldnt push them THAT much.

you can modifie them to handdle 600hp but at around the 500-550rwhp mark i would look into a new fuel setup

Ditto on what they said. They do flow more than the 93-older rails.

That why I'm asking because i heard the will handle more than 86-93 rails, which is what I have (I have a Fox) and I'm making 320rwhp, well I was, it might be around 340ish now. I am kinda looking to hit the 400hp mark, and since my stock rails are smaller, and get in the way of my power pipe, I thought maybe I should upgrade. I like where the shrader valve is on the 94-95 rail too....

JFYI- I have friends with fox bodies making upwards of 400rwhp (my one buddy is making 460rwhp and runs 11.3 at 125 on DR's) in their fox bodies with the stock rails without any problems. I believe he runs a walbro GSS340 high pressure 255lpg pump and 42lb injectors without an FMU but with an autologic chip. Someone on Turbo Mustangs who has access to proper testing equipment managed to flow test the stock fuel system components. The rails themselves are good to nearly 1000 horsepower. The first thing to address with the fuel system is the pumps. Then the lines. Rails last.

Yea the lines are more of a worry than the rails. The volume of the rails is huge compared to those tiny pencil size fuel lines.

Well I have a Walbro High Pressure 255lph. I guess I'm fine with my rails, I'm thinking about upgrading the rest of the lines, but wouldn't that be pointless since the feed line coming out of the tank is still only like 1/4"

I'm thinking about this mod too. I am going to be upgrading injectors soon for a supercharger install, and if I am going to be in there I might as well add better rails. It also helps that the SN95 rails have the scrader valve on the rail, because my stock valve has the line for my in-car fuel pressure gauge. With the second valve I'd be able to add an underhood gauge which is good for tuning by yourself. I'd be able to sell my AFPR and just get another one for the SN95 rails. I know blackfox got one for cheap, so I am going to try the same.

im running into fuel problems... But im 90% sure its the size of the lines and not the rails..

Im sure if you will be fine with 450 rwhp or less.. Once i reach 490ish it starts heading lean..

I got one mainly because of the location of the pressure valve. As it is now my fuel rails that run along the side of the block interfere with my supercharger inlet tube, and is starting to wear a hole. I just hate where it is and would feel better if I had rubber lines there. The added fuel volume is just something else I gain
