Hey Guys -- I'm new to this forum. I've owned a few mustangs before but I just picked up an 89 GT as a weekend/fun car. I owned an 05 Sonic Blue GT up until a few months ago. I decided that I didn't like putting so many miles on an expensive car. (gas price / insurance $ didn't help either) I have to commute 80 miles a day.

I decided to go with a 2 car setup and have a daily driver (06 Mazda 3) and now the 89 GT. :nice:

Anyway, I picked up this car from a guy in Jacksonville on Monday and I was just curious how much power this car would make. It's got some decent mods done to it. I'm guessing about 300-320 flywheel. What do you guys think?

I put a detailed list of mods in My Garage page.

Thanks

Your estimate may be a little high I think.Regardless,I wouldn't get bogged down with peak horse power. That is a nice street setup that I'm sure is fun to drive.Lots of power and torque below 4500 rpm.Adding 1.7 roller rockers would work well.

wow, ok. I couldnt see anything in ur garage.. But it the mods u have listed in your sig are what u have... then ur definitely over estimating your power output.

with ur mods.. expect to see about 230-250 on the dyno to the wheels. IF you are lucky and the car runs real well.

I agree those mods might bring up to the factor rating of 225 or maybe alittle higher 235

Can't believe you gave up the 05 gt:bang: . I would have keep it and bought a beater of a car for my dailydrivin comute. :nice:
