How much RWHP???

I got an edelbrock performer 5.0 and im ordering some gt-40p with 1.7 rockers
how many more ponies do u think i can get out of this???

With the mods you have right now I'd say 260rwhp and 310tq. Your going to have to get some P specific headers, might as well just switch to long tubes. Add pulleys and degree your stock cam and you could be around 280. Ask tmoss about degreeing the stock cam to help performance.

you have to get specific p headers???? i thought it was only in the 87-93 mustangs

MAC long tubes will work.

Get the AFR 165 heads, an then get a dyno.. Expect around 30+ rwhp gain on those heads !

no money for afr's =( i really dont have the money for the long tubes but i dont know i wll try my headers first and if no work i have to get overnight shipping on some long tubes =(

I'd suggest you look at the flow difference on the GT40P heads from .400" lift to .500" lift - about 4cfm, so the 1.7s won't net you much going from .444" lidt to .476". Have you already ordered them?
