Found a very nice, all there, original 71 Mustang convertable. Its a 302 automatic, power windows, and power top. I didnt remember to look and see if it has air. Its white with a white interior. Looks neglected, looks like it hasnt been registered in a while. Has dog dish hubcaps with trim rings. I looked underneath and the is some front frame rail rot. Rest of underside looks OK. Body is strait with some minor rust and bubbling in rear lower qtr. Rest of body is very good but has a dented and rusted front bumper, looks like it was in a minor bang, no sheet metal or grill damage.

Interior is dirty but in excellent conditition. Car looks like it wasnt abused, just a plain jane thats not drivin anymore. The owner wasnt around but I expect a call from him soon.

I just passed on a (foolishly) 73 Mach I clone convertable 2 months ago and I dont want to lose this one.

I passed on the other one for a bunch of reasons but in hindsight for 2 grand I should have bought it.

I dont want to lose this one, but damned if I know what its worth. Lets assume it runs. I would restore it with mods but how much do think this car is worth.

All opinions appreciated.

With Quarter bubbles mean lots of possoible rust! Both wheel wells; trunk drop; rear frame. I don't know much about 71's but is there teh same cowl issues as 65-68? ANyone? THus floors....
