You'd have to buy the entire top of a T-top car and then weld it in. If you know how to weld then it wouldn't be too hard to do... but finding a good donor would be difficult. To be honest, I've wanted to do this for years. However if you don't plan on doing it yourself it could cost you a couple grand to get somebody to find the parts and do it for you.

As for dual exhaust... go to any muffler shop and they can give you quotes.

Welding on a roof is easier than it looks/seems. Very minimal body work required afterward, too. (Just have to make damn sure your measurements are exact BEFORE you start zapping stuff together. ha)
As was mentioned already, finding a decent T-roof, (or ANY MII parts anymore) is the tough part.

Muffler shops can bend you up some nice replacement pipes, but I wouldnt rely on their generic mufflers. Ugh. ExcessiveBackPressureVille. Go Flowmasters!

My Ex's parents have a donor they'd give ya if you come to Idaho and haul it off. No glass panels, but the roof is all there.

two shops around here gave me what I thought sounded kind of a high quote, until I priced some of the stuff out. Roughly 200 in cats, another 100 - 200 in mufflers (depending on dynomax/borla/Mac- everyone runs flows- so time to find a new sound) plus the cost of pipe, and labor. I still think they were smoking something though- between 800 and 1100 was the quote from both shops. I ordered a set of side pipes- easier, plus I like the look . Now I just need to get a pair of Cats and have a pipe bent out to the sides.

wow...i really don't have that much cash thoguh, thanks for all the offers, very kind of you. but it seems like it'd be easier just to take the whole roof off and make it into a convertible...lol now that..would be nice..

Another thing to consider is the roofline is not the same between coupes and hatchback IIs. If you check the doorglass between them you'll see the coupes have a squarer opening while the hatchback cars have a gentle curve. The T-top panels are curved the same way so putting them on a coupe would be pretty major surgery. (been looking into this myself )

Why not do something like the mid 80's Corvette and have the roof cut to make a Targa top? I think that would look cool on a coupe

This is the Sportiva concept car...dating to 1974 or 1975. Looks to be a Targa top on a coupe body.

If you replace the 20+ year old seals with new ones they dont tend to leak as much. Although they do cost a bit ~300 I know I just replaced mine

Why can't you just get some body work pro's to cut holes in the MII roof and put glass panals in there. Why do you need a donor car?
