how powerful would this be????

car in my sig with a cobra intake, and thumper heads with an ecam?
how much hp/tq increase and possibly time with stock 2.73s.

How much would 373s improve the times???

or would a typhoon intake be a better choice, they are pretty cheap and i'm just building a mild H/C/I car that will be under 300 rwhp

J/K. That combo would probally run good. Get the gear definatly. My car was stock with underdrives, cold air, flows, MAF, and a few other minor mods, nothing really. I did Thumper Heads w/spring upgrade, Performer intake, 1.7's on the stock cam, 70mm TB+EGR. I was more than happy with the money I spent. First I did everything but the TB, I had the stock TB on while waiting on the Accufab. There was definatly a big difference but the TB really woke it up. I remember pulling out of the neighborhood and nailing the gas and saying OS out loud. Big difference. I was going to get a TMOSS ported lower, but I didn't know he did cores and my car was my only car so I had to get it togeather, so I busted out the extra cash.

Don't forget the Cobra intake has it's own EGR, so you won't have to buy a spacer, $60-$80 difference. Typhoon = Chineese made, keep red commie parts off your car.

My advise:

Thumper heads w/spring upgrade.
TMOSS intake
1.7's on stock cam retarded 2-4* on new timing chain.
65mm TB

Do this minimal. Really, what I would do if I were to go back would be that combo plus the GT40 Valves.

I think it is because you usually get valve float around 5600+ on the stock cam and you'll use those RPM's with Thumpers. $100, that's a good deal, it really is. In the 1/8th mile, launching from 1800rpm on a bad track on 17" wheels wrapped with Nitto's I got 1.8 60ft, and ran 8.4 ET at 85mph. That was with longtubes and a cam also but you get the idea. I had the B cam, wasn't that good, lost too much low end for not enough top end. With traction I should have gotten 8.0 - 8.2. Yeah, it would put you back in the seat. I sold the thumpers to buy some TFS's, kind of wish I didn't.
