I can't answer your question as when I swapped computers, I left that white bracket in. Which brings me to my question. Are you planning on running the computer unsecured? Just going to let it hang loose in the kick panel?

everyone says the computer will not fit with the tweecer attached. i was planning on taking the bracket out and seeing if i could modify the bracket somehow to get it in the bracket. then i'd try to install it with the bracket. otherwise, i don't see another option to hanging loose in the kick panel.

Unless you disassemble the dash, the white bracket will not be easy to get out -- I took mine out in pieces. And I think it's possible I didn't get all of it, the top bolt may still be there with a tiny bit of plastic under it. :)

What I did is this:

1. Install TwEECer
2. Secure TwEECer to EEC... I used duct tape, of course :rlaugh:
3. Wrap EEC with some foam padding (I left it open in a couple of spots to try and keep it from getting really hot)
4. Stuff it up in the kick panel.

The foam padding keeps mine snug as a bug in a rug, it ain't going anywhere. And I haven't had any overheating problems with it.
