how the hell do i get the exterior door handle off!

drill out the rivet right? where the hell do i drill!!

Right in the center of the pop rivet. Go to Ace Hardware or Home Depot and get some 1/4" stainless steel screws and self locking nuts to secrure the new handle in place.

on the out side of the door handle ?

i got a hardware store 5 min from house
they close at 6 though, gotta get these things off!

ive been tryin to drill there, but it slips off im worried about it hitting my paint!

any tips

i put my drill bit in the center but pointed the bit toward the outside of the "inner circle" where the metal is the thinest. Took about 15 seconds and I dont remember ever touching the paint. I think it was b/c the back of the handle stopped it.

allright i got everything back together, guess i just had to spend alittle more time, i got a better bit and it went through alittle easier, thanks for the help!

i dont know why ford put those junk plastic handles on when they had the same metal design!
