Just like tomcat said, pull the clip out as far as it will go. Then, I find it works beter to let go of the wiper arm. It will rest on the clip then pull at the base of it, and it will pop right off.

The "clip" only pulls out about 1/4". When you let the wiper arm spring back (gently) against the clip, it will hold the clip out, making it easier to reinstall the wiper arm.
The first time you try it, it's tricky. After that it's really effing easy.
